Robotface operates three separate motion-control robot systems:

• BOLT – Robotface's full-size, high-speed motion-control robot.
• BOLT Jr+ – Robotface's compact high-speed motion-control robot.
• Cinebot Mini – Robotface's smaller, lightweight and portable motion-control robot.

For clarity, BOLT and Cinebot Mini are different robotic systems. Where these Terms use the words robot, robotics or motion-control equipment, those words mean the particular Robotface system or systems included in the quotation.

Safety is our highest priority. Robotface crew will conduct appropriate safety briefings with the Production team and establish operating and exclusion zones as required while motion-control robotics are in operation. BOLT, BOLT Jr+ and Cinebot Mini are powerful robotic systems and must be treated as industrial machinery. The Robotface Motion Control Operator has final authority over operation of the robot and may stop, modify or refuse any setup, movement or instruction that the operator reasonably considers unsafe or likely to cause injury or damage. Cast, crew and visitors must follow all instructions from Robotface personnel and must not enter the robot operating or swept area while a robot is armed or moving unless specifically authorised by the Robotface Motion Control Operator. Where a shot requires talent, crew, props or other equipment to operate close to the robot, the proposed action must be discussed with Robotface and an appropriate safe method of operation agreed before the move is performed. Robotface will not be responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by a person failing to follow Robotface safety instructions, entering a restricted area without permission or otherwise acting negligently or unsafely, except to the extent that Robotface caused or contributed to that injury, loss or damage.

Only authorised Robotface personnel may operate BOLT or BOLT Jr+ unless otherwise expressly agreed. Cinebot Mini may permit approved camera personnel to physically manipulate the robot as part of its PushMoco/manual teaching workflow, but only under the supervision and direction of the Robotface Motion Control Operator. Production personnel must not operate, move, climb on, disconnect, modify or interfere with Robotface equipment without permission.

Production is responsible for ensuring suitable access between Robotface's vehicle/unloading position and the operating location. The required access depends upon the robot being supplied.

BOLT

BOLT is approximately 1.3 metres wide in transport configuration and requires a minimum clear width of approximately 1.3 metres through doors and access points. Tight corners, corridors, lifts, ramps and changes of level can prevent access even where doorway width is adequate. BOLT is a substantial piece of industrial equipment and is approximately 600–650 kg before track and associated equipment are taken into account. BOLT cannot normally be pushed directly across grass, soil, gravel or other soft or natural surfaces due to the risk of its wheels sinking or becoming unstable. Where BOLT must travel across a soft or natural surface, suitable continuous flooring, roadway panels, timber boards or other load-distribution material must be provided. Production is responsible for providing suitable access flooring unless otherwise agreed. Robotface carries timber flooring and load-distribution materials which may be available for use where appropriate.

BOLT Jr+

BOLT Jr+ is approximately 0.8 metres wide and can generally travel through standard commercial doorways. It weighs approximately 370 kg before track and associated equipment are taken into account. BOLT Jr+ cannot normally be pushed directly across grass, soil, gravel or other soft or natural surfaces due to the risk of its wheels sinking or becoming unstable. Where BOLT Jr+ must travel across a soft or natural surface, suitable continuous flooring, roadway panels, timber boards or other load-distribution material must be provided. Production is responsible for providing suitable access flooring unless otherwise agreed. Robotface carries timber flooring and load-distribution materials which may be available for use where appropriate.

Cinebot Mini

Cinebot Mini is substantially smaller and lighter than BOLT and BOLT Jr+ and can generally be transported through standard doorways. Its assembled mobile system is approximately 65 kg, depending upon configuration, excluding additional equipment and track. The Cinebot Mini robot arm itself weighs approximately 35 kg when removed from its track base. This allows the robot arm to be positioned in locations that would not be accessible to BOLT or BOLT Jr+, and, subject to appropriate engineering, rigging and safety assessment, it may be mounted to:

• scaffold structures;
• vehicles;
• grip dollies;
• platforms; or
• other suitably engineered mounting structures.

The Cinebot Mini track base must remain electrically connected to the robot arm when the arm is operated remotely from the track base. This connection is made using an approximately 12 metre loom between the robot arm and track base. Unlike BOLT and BOLT Jr+, the Cinebot Mini robot arm can also be physically lifted into position where wheeled access is not available, subject to safe manual-handling and rigging practices. Any scaffold, vehicle, dolly, platform or third-party support structure used to mount Cinebot Mini must be suitable for the robot's weight, movement, dynamic loads and operating envelope. Robotface reserves the right to refuse any mounting arrangement considered unsafe, structurally unsuitable or inadequately secured.

General Access Requirements

A flat, firm and reasonably level surface is required between the unloading point and operating position for equipment that is to be rolled into place. There must be an unobstructed pathway suitable for moving the selected robot and associated equipment. Production must notify Robotface before the shoot of:

• stairs;
• narrow doors or corridors;
• tight corners;
• lifts;
• steep ramps;
• uneven ground;
• grass, soil, gravel or other natural surfaces;
• soft ground or landscaping;
• weight-restricted floors or structures;
• restricted vehicle access; or
• any other unusual access conditions.

Where BOLT or BOLT Jr+ must cross grass, soil or another soft or natural surface, suitable flooring or load-distribution boards must be installed before the robot is moved across the area. Robotface may be able to provide suitable timber flooring or boards where practical, but Production must discuss this requirement with Robotface in advance. If a surface is uneven or unsuitable, Production may be required to provide assistance, materials or appropriate levelling or protection. Please check with Robotface during pre-production if there is any uncertainty about location access.

Vehicle requirements depend upon the Robotface equipment package being supplied. BOLT and BOLT Jr+ will generally require access for Robotface's equipment truck. Where the Robotface truck is used, Production must provide:

• suitable vehicle access with approximately 3.3 metres minimum vertical clearance;
• a safe unloading/loading area close to the operating location;
• approximately 10 metres of clear space where required to safely operate the hydraulic tail lift; and
• suitable truck parking at or reasonably close to the set.

Production should generally allow approximately 60 minutes for loading or unloading, subject to the equipment package and location conditions.

Cinebot Mini Vehicle Access

Cinebot Mini may be transported in Robotface's standard van rather than the larger equipment truck. Where Cinebot Mini is transported by van, Production should provide:

• approximately 2 metres minimum vertical vehicle clearance;
• access suitable for a standard-length passenger/commercial van;
• suitable parking close to the operating location; and
• approximately 3–4 metres of clear space behind the vehicle to allow Cinebot Mini and associated equipment to be unloaded safely using ramps.

Where equipment is being unloaded onto a road, loading zone or other trafficked area, Production is responsible for ensuring that suitable permits, traffic management or access arrangements are in place where required. Any parking fees, permits, traffic management or special access arrangements required for the location are the responsibility of Production unless included in the quotation.

Motion-control robots and their track systems impose significant static and dynamic loads on the surfaces beneath them. Production is responsible for ensuring that floors, stages, platforms, lifts, ramps, driveways, access routes and operating surfaces are safe, structurally sound and capable of supporting the selected Robotface equipment. Robotface does not inspect, engineer, certify or warrant the structural capacity of a location. Production must advise Robotface in advance of any:

• delicate or polished flooring;
• heritage surfaces;
• timber flooring;
• tiles;
• raised floors or stages;
• waterproof membranes;
• underfloor services;
• landscaping;
• grass or natural surfaces;
• recently painted or finished surfaces;
• surfaces susceptible to indentation or marking; or
• structural or weight-loading restrictions.

BOLT and BOLT Jr+ must not normally be rolled directly across grass or other soft natural surfaces. Suitable flooring or boards must be provided to prevent wheels sinking, becoming unstable or damaging the location. Where there is any doubt, Production is responsible for obtaining advice or approval from the location owner, venue, builder, engineer or other appropriately qualified person.

Production is responsible for obtaining the location owner's approval for Robotface's equipment to be transported through and operated at the location. Production acknowledges that heavy robotics and track equipment can create point loads, pressure, vibration and momentum capable of marking or damaging unsuitable or delicate surfaces. Robotface carries timber flooring and load-distribution boards specifically for use with BOLT and BOLT Jr+ and can provide these where appropriate to help spread point loads and protect flooring. The suitability and amount of protection required will depend upon the location, surface, access route, robot configuration and proposed movement. Production must notify Robotface in advance where delicate flooring or load-sensitive surfaces are involved so suitable protection can be planned. Where Robotface's available timber protection is insufficient or unsuitable for the location, Production is responsible for providing additional:

• protective flooring;
• plywood;
• track boards;
• roadway panels;
• mats;
• floor coverings; or
• other suitable load-distribution materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robotface will not be liable for scratching, marking, indentation, cracking, compression or other structural or aesthetic damage arising from the ordinary weight, movement or operation of Robotface equipment on a surface selected or approved by Production or the location owner, particularly where the nature, fragility or load limitation of that surface was not disclosed to Robotface. This exclusion does not apply to the extent that damage was directly caused by negligence or wilful misconduct by Robotface or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Power requirements depend upon the robot supplied. Production must confirm power availability and electrical arrangements with Robotface during pre-production.

BOLT

BOLT generally requires a dedicated 32 amp, 415V, five-pin three-phase connection. The three-phase connection supplied to the BOLT must be suitable for operation of the robotic system and must not have an upstream RCD arrangement that causes or is likely to cause nuisance tripping of the robot supply. BOLT's servo drives and regenerative characteristics can cause some upstream RCD devices to trip unpredictably, potentially shutting the robot down and preventing it from operating. Robotface therefore cannot guarantee operation of BOLT where the supplied three-phase circuit is protected by an incompatible upstream RCD. Where a portable generator is being supplied, Production must advise the generator supplier of the robot's electrical requirements in advance so that a compliant and suitable generator and protection arrangement can be provided. Where a venue's fixed three-phase outlet incorporates electrical protection that is incompatible with the robot, Production is responsible for arranging for the venue's licensed electrician to assess the circuit and provide a compliant electrical arrangement suitable for the robotic equipment before Robotface connects. Any isolation, alteration, reconfiguration or bypass of venue electrical protection must only be performed or authorised by an appropriately licensed electrician and must comply with applicable electrical, venue and workplace-safety requirements. Robotface will not itself alter a venue's switchboard or permanently disable venue safety equipment. Where a suitable supply is provided, Robotface connects the incoming three-phase power to its own power-distribution system. Robotface's distribution system incorporates appropriate downstream circuit protection for the ancillary equipment connected through the distribution box, while the dedicated robot supply is distributed in the configuration required by the robotic system. Where suitable venue power cannot be provided, an appropriately specified generator or alternative electrical supply may be required at Production's cost.

BOLT Jr+

BOLT Jr+ may be powered from suitable 240V circuits depending upon configuration. For production use, the simplest and preferred arrangement is generally for Production to provide Robotface with a single 32 amp, 415V, five-pin three-phase connection to Robotface's distribution box. This allows Robotface to distribute power from one location to:

• BOLT Jr+;
• robot-control equipment;
• camera accessories;
• monitors;
• computers; and
• other Robotface equipment.

Alternative 240V power arrangements may be possible and should be confirmed with Robotface before the shoot.

Cinebot Mini

Cinebot Mini can generally operate from 1 x 10A 240V GPO or an approved Robotface battery system.

Generator Quality, Earthing and Electrical Stability

Motion-control systems require a stable and correctly configured electrical supply. Poor-quality or unstable generator output may produce undesirable effects including subtle jitter or inconsistency in robotic movement. Incorrect, inadequate or unstable earthing arrangements may also cause intermittent or subtle problems with:

• robot control;
• camera synchronisation;
• triggering;
• timing;
• communications; and
• repeatability.

Where a generator is used, Production must ensure that the generator is appropriately sized, electrically stable, correctly earthed and suitable for powering precision motion-control equipment. Robotface may require Production's generator supplier or licensed electrician to investigate or rectify power-quality or earthing issues before robotic operation can continue.

General Power Requirements

Production is responsible for providing suitable, compliant and accessible power unless an alternative power arrangement is included in the quotation. Time lost because suitable power has not been provided, because of unsuitable generator quality or because electrical faults need to be rectified forms part of the booked production period.

Production must advise Robotface in advance of the proposed camera, lens and accessories to be installed on a robot. All equipment must remain within the applicable robot's payload, balance and physical-clearance requirements. Changes to camera, lens, matte box, teleprompter, wireless equipment or other payload after the quote has been issued may affect which Robotface system can safely perform the required shot. Where robotic focus control is required, the camera must be fitted with a suitable cinema lens capable of accepting an external lens motor. Robotface cannot provide conventional robotic follow-focus operation with photographic/DSLR lenses that are not designed to accept an appropriate external cine lens motor. As a general rule, PL, LPL or other suitable cine lenses should be used where repeatable robotic focus control is required. Robotface reserves the right to refuse a payload or configuration considered unsafe, incompatible or unsuitable.

Robotface robotics may in some circumstances be used to move products, models, lights, props or other objects. Any non-camera payload must be disclosed and approved in advance. Robotface must approve the payload, mounting method, weight, balance and proposed movement before operation. Robotface may refuse any proposed mounting arrangement or movement considered unsafe or unsuitable.

Cameras, lenses, lighting, computers, storage media and other equipment supplied by Production or another supplier remain the responsibility of Production. Robotface is not responsible for pre-existing faults, equipment incompatibility, equipment outside manufacturer's specifications, third-party hardware or software failure, or delays caused by Production-supplied or third-party equipment, except to the extent caused or contributed to by Robotface.

Robotface motion-control systems are designed to provide highly accurate, repeatable camera movement. For multi-pass video plates where individual takes are required to align accurately in post-production, Robotface requires a camera capable of being synchronised using genlock, frame synchronisation or another Robotface-approved synchronisation method. Cameras commonly capable of suitable synchronisation include many professional:

• ARRI cinema cameras;
• RED cinema cameras;
• Phantom high-speed cameras;
• selected Sony cinema cameras; and
• selected Blackmagic Design cinema cameras.

The specific camera model and proposed frame rate must be confirmed with Robotface before production. Where Production chooses to use a camera without suitable synchronisation, Robotface can still repeat the programmed physical robot movement, but cannot guarantee that successive video plates will be temporally aligned frame-for-frame. Exact multi-pass alignment is dependent upon the complete shooting system, including:

• robot calibration;
• camera genlock or synchronisation;
• camera and recording settings;
• lens and focus control;
• track stability;
• set stability;
• frame rate;
• triggering;
• power quality;
• third-party equipment; and
• environmental conditions.

Outdoor Multi-Pass Work

Environmental conditions can also affect extremely precise multi-pass work. Motion-control track is constructed from metal and can expand or contract as temperature and weather conditions change across a shooting day. When shooting outdoors, significant changes in ambient temperature, direct sunlight, shade, wind, ground temperature or weather conditions may cause small dimensional changes in the track system. These changes may affect the precise overlap of video plates captured many hours apart, particularly over longer track runs or where extremely accurate VFX alignment is required. Where exact VFX plate alignment is critical, Production should plan multi-pass photography accordingly and advise Robotface during pre-production. Minor post-production alignment may still be required where environmental conditions, camera systems or other factors outside Robotface's control affect the recorded plates.

Where agreed, Robotface can provide motion-control data including FBX or realtime camera-position information. Any required file format, coordinate system, frame rate, timecode, virtual-production protocol, Unreal or other realtime integration, camera tracking, VFX workflow or third-party software integration must be communicated before production. Development, custom integration, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of third-party systems are not included unless expressly included in the quotation. Robotface's internal Flair projects, programming files and robot control files remain Robotface working files unless their delivery is expressly agreed.

Where Robotface supplies Phantom VEO 4K, PIXBOOM Spark or other high-speed camera equipment, Production acknowledges that high-speed cinematography has specialist lighting, exposure, media and data requirements. Lighting that performs normally at conventional frame rates may flicker or otherwise behave differently when photographed at high frame rates. Robotface cannot guarantee the performance of third-party lighting fixtures. Production is responsible for providing suitable lighting unless lighting is expressly included in Robotface's quotation.

Where Robotface is engaged to handle camera data, Robotface will use reasonable professional practices to copy and verify the captured material. Production must nominate the required data-delivery workflow and storage media. Once footage has been handed over or transferred to Production-controlled storage, Production is responsible for maintaining its own backups. No digital storage system can be guaranteed against every potential failure. Robotface is not liable for corruption, loss or deletion occurring after data has been handed to Production or resulting from client-supplied storage, hardware or software, except to the extent caused by Robotface.

A full day comprises 10 hours unless otherwise specified in the quotation. All time worked in excess is charged at the applicable overtime rate.

A half day comprises 4 hours unless otherwise specified in the quotation. All time worked in excess is charged at the applicable overtime rate.

Overtime is charged at the rates specified in the quotation or Robotface's applicable rate schedule. Unless otherwise quoted, the current rates are:

• Motion Control Operator – $230 per hour
• Motion Control Assistant – $200 per hour

For work entering 14 hours and beyond, labour is charged at $300 per hour per crew member, unless otherwise agreed.

Crew labour rates are subject to the following weekend loading unless otherwise stated in the quotation:

• Saturday – 25% loading
• Sunday – 50% loading

The applicable loading also applies to overtime. Equipment rates are not subject to weekend loading unless otherwise stated.

The booked period begins and continues as agreed regardless of delays caused by matters outside Robotface's control, including delays relating to location access, Production, cast or talent, lighting, art department, set construction, camera department, power, generator or electrical issues, permits, weather, third-party equipment or other production activities. Robotface will use reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule changes but cannot guarantee availability beyond the booked period.

Robotface understands that production schedules change and therefore operates the following booking system.

Loose Hold

A Loose Hold reserves an indication of interest in specified date(s) but does not constitute confirmation of a booking. A Loose Hold may be challenged by another client wishing to confirm the same date.

Locked Hold

Where multiple holds exist for the same date, a client may be asked to confirm the booking and pay the required deposit. Once the required confirmation and deposit have been received, that client's booking becomes a Locked Hold and competing holds may be released.

Confirmation

A booking is confirmed when:

1. the quotation has been accepted;
2. any required deposit has been paid; and
3. Robotface has confirmed the booking.

Robotface is not required to hold equipment or crew indefinitely without confirmation.

Deposits are applied towards the agreed project and secure Robotface equipment, personnel and production capacity for the booking. Deposits are project-specific and are not automatically transferable to another production. Where the Client cancels or reschedules the project, Robotface may retain the deposit to the extent reasonably required to cover reserved capacity, committed labour, preparation, third-party costs and other loss arising from the cancellation. Where Robotface is unable to provide the contracted service and the Client does not accept a reasonable replacement or rescheduled date, any unused portion of the deposit relating to services not provided will be refunded.

Upfront payments are project-specific. Where a project is cancelled or materially altered, the cancellation provisions of these Terms apply to any upfront payment. Any portion relating to properly incurred costs, reserved capacity, completed work or applicable cancellation charges may be retained.

Where a confirmed booking is cancelled or postponed within two business days / 48 hours of the scheduled commencement, Robotface may charge up to 100% of the booked equipment and labour charges, together with any non-refundable travel, freight, accommodation, contractor or other third-party costs already committed. The amount charged will reflect Robotface's reserved equipment, personnel, committed costs and reasonable loss resulting from the late cancellation. For cancellations occurring earlier than this period, any reasonable non-refundable costs or specifically committed project expenses remain payable. Where Robotface is reasonably able to mitigate a cancellation loss by securing replacement work for the same equipment and crew, Robotface may take this into account.

Robotface will reasonably endeavour to accommodate requests to move a confirmed booking to another date. Rescheduling is subject to equipment and crew availability and may result in additional costs where Robotface has already incurred costs or lost other work as a result of the original confirmed booking.

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. Where a project requires pre-visualisation, substantial preparation, third-party contractors, travel or other advance commitments, Robotface may require a deposit or progress payment. Approved overtime, variations and additional expenses are payable in addition to the original quoted amount. Prices are exclusive of GST unless expressly stated otherwise.

A quotation is based upon the information available to Robotface when it is prepared. Additional costs may apply where Production subsequently requests or requires additional equipment, another Robotface system, additional tracks, different cameras or lenses, additional operators or technicians, additional shoot or setup time, additional locations, additional travel, additional previsualisation or programming, VFX or virtual-production integration, additional data services, or another material change to the agreed scope. Robotface will advise Production of material variations wherever reasonably practicable.

Neither party will be treated as being in breach because performance is prevented by an event genuinely outside that party's reasonable control, including government restrictions, natural disasters, emergencies or other comparable events. This does not automatically relieve Production from paying for services already supplied or reasonable non-refundable costs already incurred by Robotface. Illness of individual cast or crew members, ordinary weather risks or Production scheduling changes are not automatically treated as force majeure.

Where Robotface equipment is left at a location overnight or otherwise unattended by Robotface personnel by agreement with Production, Production is responsible for providing reasonable security for the equipment. This may include locked and secured storage, controlled location access, onsite security personnel where reasonably required, and reasonable measures against theft, vandalism or unauthorised use. Production is responsible for loss, theft or damage occurring while the equipment has been left in Production's custody or control, except to the extent caused or contributed to by Robotface. Robotface may refuse to leave equipment at a location where the proposed security arrangements are reasonably considered inadequate. Any additional transport, labour or other cost resulting from the need to remove and return equipment may be charged to Production where adequate agreed security could not be provided. Ordinary crew meal breaks while Robotface personnel remain onsite do not, by themselves, transfer custody and responsibility for the equipment to Production.

Production is responsible for ensuring that suitable environmental protection can be provided for Robotface equipment when shooting outdoors or in exposed locations. Relevant environmental risks include rain and water, excessive humidity, direct sunlight and excessive heat, strong wind, dust, sand, unstable or wet ground, and other conditions capable of damaging equipment or creating a safety risk. Production must advise Robotface in advance where robotics are proposed to operate in exposed conditions. The Robotface Motion Control Operator has final authority to suspend or cease operation if environmental conditions are considered unsafe for personnel or equipment. Robotface will not be required to continue operating equipment in conditions it reasonably considers unsafe. Where operations are interrupted by environmental conditions outside Robotface's control, booked time continues to accrue and any resulting additional time, attendance or rescheduling may be charged.

Production must exercise reasonable care around Robotface equipment. Production is responsible for loss of or damage to Robotface equipment caused by Production or its cast, crew, contractors, visitors, equipment or activities, except to the extent Robotface caused or contributed to the loss. Where insured Robotface equipment is lost, stolen or damaged as a result of an event for which Production is responsible, Production may be required to pay the applicable insurance excess, reasonable repair costs, uninsured loss and other reasonable direct costs arising from the event, to the extent permitted by law.

Robotface maintains its specialist robotics, cameras and associated equipment to a professional standard. Production acknowledges that sophisticated robotic, mechanical, electrical, computer and high-speed camera systems can occasionally experience technical faults. If a Robotface equipment fault occurs, Robotface will use reasonable efforts to diagnose and rectify the issue and, where reasonably practicable, provide suitable alternative Robotface equipment. Where a material Robotface equipment failure prevents the contracted service from being delivered, an appropriate remedy may include substitute equipment, additional shooting time, rescheduling, a reasonable credit, or refund of the portion of services that could not be supplied. Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, Robotface is not responsible for consequential production losses, missed broadcast or delivery dates, loss of anticipated profit or the costs of other production departments arising solely from an equipment fault.

Production is responsible for obtaining all necessary filming permits, location permissions, council approvals, traffic-management arrangements, parking permits, electrical approvals, property-owner permissions and other permissions necessary for the production, unless expressly included in Robotface's quotation.

Where applicable, travel, accommodation, vehicle costs, flights, freight, excess baggage, parking, tolls, permits and other expenses will be charged as specified in the quotation. Unexpected but reasonable costs incurred in delivering the agreed service may be passed on to Production.

Robotface carries public liability insurance of $20,000,000 per occurrence. A Certificate of Currency can be provided upon request. Production is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for its own production activities, personnel, locations and equipment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. Subject to those rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Robotface will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss including loss of anticipated profit, revenue or opportunity. Any exclusion or limitation of liability in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law and takes into account the extent to which Robotface caused or contributed to the relevant loss.

Production is responsible for the acts and omissions of its employees, contractors, cast, crew and authorised visitors. To the extent permitted by law, Production indemnifies Robotface against third-party claims, loss or damage arising from Production's breach of these Terms, undisclosed unsafe or structurally unsuitable location conditions, failure to follow Robotface safety directions, Production-supplied equipment, Production's failure to obtain necessary permissions or permits, or negligent or unlawful acts or omissions of Production or its personnel, but only to the extent that the relevant claim, loss or damage was not caused or contributed to by Robotface.

The following provisions apply only where Robotface Studios is included in the quotation.

Studio Hours

A full studio day comprises 10 hours. A studio half day comprises 4 hours.

Studio Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges of up to 100% of the booked studio charge may apply where a confirmed studio booking is cancelled within two business days / 48 hours of commencement.

Studio Overtime

Studio overtime is charged at $150 per hour, unless otherwise specified in the quotation.

Studio Repainting

Where repainting is required:

• Studio A – $400 + GST
• Studio B – $250 + GST

These charges may be varied where repainting or repair required exceeds the normal repaint scope.

Studio Reset and Damage

Production must leave the studio substantially as it was provided. This includes removal of Production equipment, removal of art department materials, removal of rubbish and waste, and return of studio areas to their original configuration where applicable. Any excessive cleaning, rubbish removal, repairs or damage to Robotface studio property caused by Production may be charged to Production at the reasonable cost of rectification.

These Terms and the associated quotation are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Victoria and applicable Commonwealth courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

The accepted quotation, these Terms & Conditions and any written variations agreed between Robotface and the Client together constitute the agreement for the services.
